You run the mission.
We’ll do the legwork.

Kasané is a small, human-first team that uses AI to handle the research, reporting, follow-up and everyday admin that eat your week. You get a dedicated assistant and real people behind it, so your team can spend its time on the people you serve.

Examples of what your assistant sends: a morning opportunity report with three grants ranked by fit, a first draft ready for review, and a reminder that a foundation report is due Friday with the draft started.

The problem

Your mission doesn’t
run on spreadsheets.

Small teams wear every hat. Grant deadlines and donor thank-yous, client follow-ups and reports that are due, the paperwork behind every project. The work that keeps the lights on quietly eats the hours meant for the people you serve.

We take that work on, carefully and in your voice, so you get your week back.

How we help

Three ways we help

Find opportunities

Grants, funders and openings that fit your mission, researched and ranked every week, with the deadline and a reason it fits. You see them before the deadline sneaks up.

For example

A weekly list of new grants that fit, ranked by fit and deadline.

Get the work done

First drafts of grant applications, donor letters, impact reports, newsletters, proposals and board materials. Written in your voice, reviewed by you, never padded with outcomes you didn’t achieve.

For example

A first draft of next month’s appeal letter, ready for your edits.

Keep it moving

Follow-ups, thank-you notes, reporting deadlines and reminders, tracked so nothing drops. The steady follow-through that small teams rarely have time for.

For example

A reminder that your foundation report is due in two weeks, with the draft started.

How it works

Your partnership with Kasané

  1. 1

    We listen.

A conversation about your mission and your week: what eats your time, and what you wish someone else could handle.

  2. 2

    We tailor your assistant.

Together we set what it takes on, how often, and how you’ll get it, shaped around your programs, your voice and your tools. All in writing, no surprises.

  3. 3

    Your assistant gets to work.

A dedicated assistant handles the work by email or wherever your team already works, with our team overseeing it.

  4. 4

    You stay in control.

Nothing goes out without your approval. We never send messages as you, and you can see everything we’ve done.

Human first, AI-powered

People you can call.
Tools that do the heavy lifting.

Every organization gets a named assistant that does the day-to-day work, and a real team that’s accountable for it. The AI makes us fast and thorough. The people make sure it’s right, it sounds like you, and it actually helps.

The name

Kasané (重ね) means “layering.”

Said kah-SAH-neh

Each layer adds to the one beneath it. That’s how we work: our people on top of good tools, on top of your mission.

Who we serve

Built for mission-driven organizations

Nonprofits

Food banks and housing support, animal shelters, arts and culture, historic preservation, conservation, youth and education programs, and the small teams behind them.

Purpose-driven businesses

Companies that make life more affordable, accessible and human: affordable and senior housing, sustainable building and the built environment, accessibility, and the local businesses that hold a community together.

Different missions, the same three jobs: finding opportunities, getting the writing done, and keeping it all moving.

If your team is small and your mission is big, we’re probably a good fit.

A week with Kasané

What it looks like on a Tuesday

  1. 8:00 AM

Your opportunity report arrives: three new grants that fit, each with the deadline, the amount and why it’s a match.

  2. 10:30 AM

You reply “let’s go for the second one.” By the afternoon, a first draft and a checklist of what the funder needs are waiting.

  3. Thursday

A reminder that your annual report to a current funder is due next week, with last year’s numbers already pulled together.

One preservation firm we work with gets a ranked list of new opportunities in their inbox at 8:00 every morning, with a deadline and a contact for each.

Founding partners

We’re looking for a few founding partners.

We’re starting with a small group of nonprofits so we can do this really well, and shape the service around what matters most to them. All we ask in return is an honest conversation about what’s working and what isn’t.

Questions people ask

Something else on your mind?

Ask us directly. A person will answer.

No forms, no bots. Tell us about your organization and what’s eating your week.

team@hellokasane.com
Is this a software tool we have to learn?

No. You work with us the way you already work: email, Slack or a simple portal. There’s nothing to install.

Will it sound like a robot wrote it?

It shouldn’t. We learn your voice, and you review everything before it goes anywhere.

Can you write grants for us?

We research opportunities and prepare strong first drafts, organized to the funder’s requirements. You review, edit and submit. We never invent outcomes.

Who sees our information?

Only your assistant and our team. It’s never shared with other clients.

What does it cost?

Plans are monthly, with nonprofit pricing. Many funders support capacity-building, and we can help you look for a grant that covers it.

Is there anything you don’t do?

Yes. No financial or investment advice, no legal advice, and we never send messages as you. Drafts wait for your approval, and you send them.

Let’s talk about
your week.

Tell us what’s taking your time. If we can help, we’ll show you exactly how. If we can’t, we’ll say so.
